7 Wonders of the World
Unit Summary
Students will use what they are learning in Social Studies, Math and in EdTech class to create a realistic one week trip to a wonder of the world. Students will learn how to recreate a replica of their wonder of the world using the 3D printer to create a physical copy of the landmark.

Performance Tasks (main subject integration: Social Studies & Math)
Goal: Your goal is to plan a vacation for a family (two parents and two children), traveling to your wonder of the world for one week.
Role: The student will be a travel agent for BVS Worldwide Tours.
Audience: Your audience is an English speaking family, living in Costa Rica, who are interested in exploring the world, starting with the wonders of the world.
Situation: An English speaking family of four has asked your company, BVS Worldwide Tours, to plan a visit to the wonder of the world that your are researching. Your travel plan must include: round trip flights from San Jose, Costa Rica, hotel stay for 6 nights, 4 days worth of activities, 3 meals a day and information on visas (if needed) for Costa Rican and American passports.
Product: You need to prepare a written tour itinerary and a budget for this trip. You will also WOW your family by preparing a TripWow by TripAdvisor presentation of the places they will visit on their journey, which will include a map of their journey.
