My Passions that I share with the school community.
Photography is a passion that I use to express my love of traveling. I share my passion of photography and Photoshop with my peers by holding sessions during my school’s Passion Hours. I share the basics of what makes a good photo (lines of third, angles, lighting, and others) as well as how to retouch their images in Photoshop. My peers have enjoyed my Passion Hour sessions and have had some great takeaways.
Cross-stitching is a craft that is important to me for sentimental reasons. Both my grandmothers cross-stitched and my mother taught me. I share my love of cross-stitch with my students in an after-school club. I teach them the same skills that have been passed down from my grandmother to my mother to me. I also enjoy teaching the students how to create their own cross-stitching patterns as a form of self-expression. I enjoy sharing both of my passions with the teachers and students.

As a digital learning coach, I believe every teacher has something meaningful to offer and should be valued as an equal and honored as a professional. I coach teachers by being flexible and differentiating to meet each teacher’s needs. I aim to be collaborative, creative and committed to encouraging and supporting teachers in creating quality integrated lessons that engage students and enhance learning.
