This week we will continue to code with Toby, helping him through the program to find the cheese!  Make sure to use your coding cards to help you write your program!

This week we will start working with Toby!  The race is on to build hands-on coding skills! Build your maze, and then use the coding cards to create a step-by-step path for Colby, the Programmable Robot Mouse. Program the sequence of steps, and then watch Colby race to find the cheese! ​

Today we will start learning how to code without the use of a computer or iPad. This week we will practice with a paper maze. The process of giving directions helps reiterate the steps involved in moving along a frequent path. Writing a computer program is similar in many ways. You need to tell the "computer" (your friend) exactly what to do, turn by turn or step by step. ​

This will be our last week coding with Awbie.  This week we will be learning about using the repeat and the conditional functions.

Use the Repeat Block to “loop” your code. A loop is when a sequence of commands is repeated, and is another key concept in computational thinking. 

The gray Caution Block will prevent Awbie from hitting an obstacle. By attaching the Caution Block to a command and attaching alternate commands under the Caution Block.
