Winter Break (Dec 11 - Feb 5)

Your winter break project is a combined library/EdTech project. Over break please try to finish your book from the library. Before you come back to school please have a hand drawn sketch of your favorite character from the book. The sketch needs to be very well done with lots of detail and color. Along with your sketch, please have a character description written in 1st person. The description should be 1 paragraph, not to little and not to much since you will only have 30 seconds to record yourself reading it. Once you get back we will be using Chatterpix to create an interactive masterpiece!

This week you will be given a chance to complete any unfinished work and to work on your Typing Club. Deadline for all assignments is Thursday at 8am.

This week we will be taking about what it means to be kind to others and showing kindness as part of our Mindfulness unit. We will be using the app SeeSaw in an activity to send kindness to our friends in our class.

This week I will be giving you some time in class to work on Typing Club. Please remember you should be practicing you keyboarding skills at home 20 minutes a week!

Nov 13-17

On Monday we will be learning about the 50 States of the United States and the 13 provinces and territories of Canada, this will help us narrow down locations in our future Mystery Skypes that we will be doing.

On Thursday we will be doing another Mystery Skype! You are becoming a master in geography!
