Winter Break (Dec 11 - Feb 5)

Your winter break project is a combined library/EdTech project. Your project is to create a book box, click here from the instructions from Mrs. Garduno. One of your five elements for the box needs to be a hand drawn sketch of your favorite character from the book. Along with your sketch, please have a character description written in 1st person. The description should be 1 paragraph, not to little and not to much since you will only have 30 seconds to record yourself reading it. Once you get back we will be using Chatterpix to create an interactive masterpiece!

This week we will be finishing up the Ozobot challenges. Typing Club grades are due Thursday at 8am, please make sure you are at level 75 before Thursday morning. You will not have time in class to complete Typing Club, please make time for this at home or during open lab.

Nov 27 - Dec 1

Starting this week you will be working with the Ozobot Construction Challenge, there are 12 task total to complete.

1. Complete a task.
2. Log into Flipgrid with the code: aj0r02
3. Press the + button and film your Ozobot completing the task.
4. Take a picture of your program for your cover photo.
5. First name: Group # . Last name: Task challenge #1.
6. Upload your video. Task will only be graded as they are uploaded, if you do not upload your task, they will not be marked as completed.

This week we will be talking about gratitude and why it is important to be thankful for what we have. You will be creating a FlipGrid video to share what you are grateful for with the rest of the class. Watch below to see what Kid President is thankful for.
